What kind of freedom have we subscribed?

Thirty two years young you realize what you can live without during life amongst the living.  Adventures are best when people count on you.  Counting on self is when you’ve graduated.  Cum laude carpe diem.

Music makes sense.   Money makes.  Weekdays repeat.  When your mind is unbounded you stop dreaming… you start sleeping.  Warm welcome crazy and do more than understand lazy, reward yourself with such luxuries once confident.

Walk or run.  If you run, run fast – run past.  Just know thirty-plus won’t stop for you while you’re sitting.  Being a man is knowing you can.

Just in the nick of time.  Remembering your month before it’s over, even if fooled . Picture it.  All dressed it up with productivity and plenty sleep.  Happy hour be the accoutrement for days feeling wayward, hoping beauty finds you.  Beauty makes you forget – returning you to the life of the living.  Reminds you why work is worth waking.  Will you towards the willing.   Don’t guess, remember.  Forget the ugly.  Ugly keeps you manageable.

If it wasn’t for motivation you’d be motionless.  Oxygen breathing habitual, complimenting your carbon.  Sounds good to be outside busy.  April busy.  The sun guarantees your time to evolve.

I’m playing catch up now.  Writing down all my thoughts is inversely proportional to the amount of to work and nightly outings allotted.  We drown about town.  It feels different this time around – and around these times it’s different.  Chiasmus guides us to believing in vague.

Noticed in Miami that the fashion on display in most stores was garishly suggestive.  Rhinestones on jean, belts and button downs for Men, no kidding.  Ladies was the typical – less is more.  Troublesome and appropriate.

I’ve grown to enjoy the city stroll.  No muni or checkered cabs, just your left and right, first then foremost, breathing in outside.  I embrace the feeling that we’re somewhat out of place and that is the very thought which brings us together.  Example, stumbled upon chez spencer (french roach coach) in soma. I remember being well equipped. Not by young man studious standards, but by nickel-plated stunt guns.  Six shot style, red plastic housing minor explosive shells, providing adequate sound effects.  Leaving all adolescents feeling affected once aimed upon.  Plastic Katana replicas with holster, star wars light saber with motion effects, M16 water guns, Nerf stick-em’ arrows.  Oh! And the new Nerf Vulcan EBF-25 fully automatic toy dart gun: Junior Rambo weapon of choice.  The darts come belt fed! I can’t fully summarize the long list, but you see the brick road I’m laying down which leads straight to Rumpus.  I don’t fully understand the big brothers engineering scheme that embodies us with such innocent acts of heinous.

Yea back then I could count and recite the alphabet, but this was idle time events during grade school.  Unconsciously we were strategizing future battles and what equipment we could use.  Utter the wrong words in class lead to your best fist.  Putting up your ‘dukes’ was essential for honest combat when cornered.  How is this destructive behavior?  The Earth rotates due to the Sun’s accord, and Sun to Solar System.  And when this is not understood we requiem for a dream.

Rough-housing was our interest, not girls.  As we grow older and our interest in women matures, so does our weapons.  Ya dig?

Looking like a Yankee.  Wearing black and it’s mid summer. You stink of salesman and useless insurance, handcuffed to briefcase.  Provider of all things we’re too afraid to live without.  “…hold on Elroy, now I was your age once upon a decade…”  No, you were never my age! Simple citizens then, now altered beast living in urban warfare.

Now I understand some people think wearing a suit provides them with a certain level of stature. It gives them confidence. It helps them feel good about themselves. Well let me be the first to tell you that if you feel like you need a suit to gain that confidence, you got problems. The minute you open your mouth, all those people who might think you have a great suit, forget about the suit and have to deal with the person wearing it.

I entertain the suit and smile doing so since it’s not required, being employed in the Silicon Valley.  I leave the top button alone now and dangle the tie hap-hazardly.  I second Mark Cuban’s take on “Why I don’t wear a suit  and can’t figure out why anyone does.”  You wear to work what your customers wear to work.  Easier said than done depending on your work environment.  But push the envelope, live accordingly as you see fit.  And I guarantee you, the shoe will always fit, only if you’re comfortable wearing it.  Kampai!
